My name is Lara and this is my story...
During February 2008, I received an invitation to a friends wedding. This was the first wedding I had been to in four years that I hadn't been pregnant for, so I was really looking forward to being able to buy something special!
That evening I saw a dress on the internet and asked my husband Daniel while he was loading the dishwasher:
"Do you think anyone else will be wearing this dress?"
To which he replied...
"How the h*** do I know? Is there not a website that you can register your dress on?"
Well, needless to say I looked and found nothing. I then began to ring round friends and ask the question "What are you wearing?" in a desperate attempt to ensure that I didn't choose the same as someone else.
Thankfully I was the only one wearing my chosen dress on the day. Unfortunately two other ladies weren't so lucky!
And so it was tantrums and tears that inspired us to create this site...
